Haiti is still struggling with both the COVID-19 Crisis and Political Violence. Additionally, with high inflation, the government has artificially devalued the dollar. We now must send twice the funds to keep the school going.
However, all Schools, including the Community School of Bellevue, are now open. The community is doing their best to social distance, but with no electricity or plumbing, people must go out each day for food. Sanitation facilities are few and far between. Healthcare is basically nonexistent. We are doing our best to provide the community with food and soap and water as well as providing funding to keep the school open. Every donation is important. Thank you for helping!
In Haiti, less than 50 percent of the population is literate
We are working in Haiti to provide an education to those who can not afford one.
